Xfinity email belongs to Xfinity, a brand of Comcast Corporation. It is an American telecommunications conglomerate with headquarters based in Philadelphia.

Ranking among the largest cable television and broadcasting companies in the world by revenue, it is the largest paid television, largest cable TV company, and the largest home internet service provider in the United States as well as being the third-largest home telephone service provider.

In which areas does Comcast serve its TV and internet?

Comcast serves U.S residential and commercial customers across 40 states in the United States of America, as well as in the District of Columbia.

What happens when users sign up for Xfinity after their account has not been used for long?

If users are no longer subscribers of Xfinity internet and/or Xfinity Voice, they can still use their Comcast.net email address.

They can make up to seven email accounts on Comcast/Xfinity internet services.

When creating an email address, adding an account by visiting www.xfinity.com and then clicking om ‘my account.’ Users should then refer to stepwise (step by step) instructions on adding multiple Xfinity email IDs to their account.

In order to further streamline this process, to transfer the email and contacts from other accounts to Comcast.net, users can do so by going to ‘transfer my email’ section of Comcast.com.

However, a point to be noted: If users are no longer using an Xfinity internet or Xfinity voice customer, they won’t be able to add any new email accounts.

In order for users to master their email, they can view a menu of email options, including reply forward and delete.

They can move emails from the inbox through a folder using a drag and drop mechanism.

They then must type the first few keys on an email address which will be completed by Autocomplete (provided that the contact is in the address book).

Comcast customers can enjoy spam-free emails as they receive automatic advanced anti-spam filtering and protection. Also, users can bring in email capabilities on the road by visiting m.xfinity.com or by downloading the Xfinity Connect app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store.

What will users be able to do with Xfinity Connect?

With Xfinity Connect, users will be able to manage their voicemail by checking voicemail, forwarding messages, reviewing the call history, and the like.

When it comes to combining their contacts, users can merge contacts from various accounts into a universal address book.

What can users do to access their Xfinity email account in order for it to be considered active?

Users can access their email account through any of the methods below in order to keep inactive status:

  • Xfinity Connect webmail.
  • Xfinity Connect app for mobile devices.
  • Third-party email applications (through outlook, iPhone Mail, and the like).

Inactive email accounts can be activated again by accessing the email account through any of these methods. However, content that has been deleted will not be available.

Email accounts having auto-forwarding enabled on them will also be considered active regardless of whether the last login made on that account was made recently.

What about secondary email accounts, should they be accessed after every 12 months to remain active?

Both primary and secondary email accounts on Xfinity should be accessed once at least every 12 months to ensure that they are active.

What if users disconnect their Xfinity service and wish to access their Comcast email?

If users logged into their account within 90 days prior to disconnecting their service, you can still use their Comcast email address but subject to certain available terms on Xfinity’s website, especially at the ‘my Xfinity’ section.

How good is the service quality level of Xfinity?

Xfinity and Comcast have been facing a serious drop in quality of service. They not only have been charged with overcharging customers during the Coronavirus pandemic but have also inadvertently damaged cable connections of people when installing the internet for some customers.

The company has also compromised its security levels by a bad margin. Their emails started getting hacked due to scammers and phishers sitting as far as Chile and The Philippines.

Their setup was hard to use at times, to an extent people have decided to start using Gmail.

The Federal Commission for Competition of the United States of America has received loads of complaints regarding Comcast and its low-quality services.

Citizens and consumers are hopeful that Comcast will refrain from causing problems.
